Saturday was exciting. Mum went with friends to the Wellington Race Day, which is held just outside the city. It was scorching hot, and after just one half glass of champagne and some potato chips, mum felt like she was going to pass out. She had to run and sit in the shade,
hoping she did not pass out or be sick. Luckily the feeling passed and she was able to resume her day.
It was nice to see lots of sun, and some parts of mum saw more sun than others.
Me, I stayed home and ignored the housework again. Oh, but we get to change the sheets tonight. My
favouritst thing in the world.
We hope you all had a great Saturday.
We hope your mum is feeling much better, Poppy. Our mum is a fainter, so we know it's no fun at all.
ReplyDeleteHave fun changing the sheets!:)
The PM does not mix well with heat either. She needs lots of shade and cold drinks when it's hot!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a restful weekend!
Sun and champagne! Our mum has got a faraway look in her eyes.
ReplyDeleteChanging the bedding is fun. I,Flynn, like to get in the quilt cover, and mum says that one day she will fasten it with me still inside!
It must have been some bad chips. Glad to hear your Mum is feeling better.
