Daylight Savings change

Our daylight savings changed at the weekend. As it is autumn here in NZ, our clocks went backward, so it is a bit lighter in the morning, but dark when my mum gets home. This week it is warm though, but the skies are grey and there are stormy winds.

Mum says it is time for the Easter bunny to come and visit, and he will have to find her at work cause she will be working again. when he visits. We hope you all have some nice plans for the weekend.

  3. We had the same thing with daylight savings Poppy but nobody told me so I thought it was dinner much earlier.

I hope you get an easter bunny of your very own.

  4. We do not enjoy daylight savings. Just when we get use to it, it changes. We think the Easter Bunny will find your Mom, because he is a professional!

  5. Our grandad is most upset about the change. He misses his bit of daylight to finish the day.

If the Easter bunny leaves your mum's eggs at home while she is at work, make sure not to nibble on too many, Poppy ;)

  10. Time changing confuses many of us and our humans! We are watching the bunny in the back yard to make sure he isn't the Easter Bunny!

  11. We get so confused about Daylight Savings Time! Mom kind of likes the one in the fall because she gets an extra hour - but she doesn't like it when it gets dark so early.

Hope you get something really good from the Easter bunny :)

  12. Wow we just turned our clocks forward, not it is dark in the morning and light in the evening. We have lots of snow today, so sad. Hope you have a great day. =)

  13. I was not happy with the daylight savings change as it meant I got my dinner an hour later.

  15. It seems weird to be talking to someone who has Easter in the fall. Mom says she never really thought about it, other than that Christmas was in the summer for you. I guess it's what you know, and grow up with. But it is cool talking to you down under.

    :)

  16. We got our hour back last weekend, too. Lucky for Kate (!), it means that I wake up for breakfast and my day release at 5.30am (ish) instead of 6.30am(ish).

Hope you and your mum have a lovely Easter. Hope the Easter Kiwi brings you a million treats.

  17. The time change is hard on this household. Everyone gets all upset and cranky over it! We hope that Easter Bunny finds his way ok!

  18. Ours went back the other day, we now get up really early in the morning to make the most of the daylight hours. Of course being a cool cat I was up already - it's more for those lazy humans who like to sleep when it's dark. FAZ
