Shooting Star
(pic from the internet - not our own one)
Tonight (about 10 minutes ago), at 10pm - mum went outside to get the washing in. She was thinking it was a beautiful evening, and very warm. She was thinking she better hurry, so she could write this post before she went to bed. While she looked up a bright shooting star went across the sky in front of her, big and clear and a bit pink looking. Mum has never seen a big one like that before - beautiful.
Me, well I was in the bushes looking for moths who might be sleeping, but might need to be eaten up.
Have a great week everybuddy.

Oh wow! It's pretty cool to think that that star was in my sky too (but I didn't see it either. I was inside).

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful picture your mom took Poppy! Searching for sleeping moths sounds like a very important task. Hope you found one or two good ones.
ReplyDeleteThat was a big one! We don't see many in the city. Were the bugs good?

We don't get to see those very often - they're always special. And very lucky too - did you find some moths?
ReplyDeleteWe have never seen a shooting star but our mum has seen them sometimes. She can see them here because we don't live near street lights and the sky is very black with no light reflections. Did your mum wish upon a star?
ReplyDeleteThose are so beautiful, aren't they? I hope you mad a wish.
ReplyDeleteHow cool to see that, mum has seen a few of the Persiad meteor showers once. But they are faint.
ReplyDeleteWow, that must have been soooo cool. How lucky your mom was, to be there and see it.
ReplyDeleteWe wanted to thank you for your kind words after Jill's passing. They were very much appreciated.
