Fixed

Finally - the internets got fixed.  The other night (last week), mum got home to find no internets.  She pressed all the buttons on and off, tried all the phone lines in and out.  She then rung the telecoms which said it would be a 20-30 minute wait.  Well it was a 1 and a half hour wait to be told she would be put through to the phone people which was another 40 minute wait.  Mums speaker on her cell phone is not so good, so mum walked around the house with the cell phone tucked into her cleavage.

All the hours they offered to get an engineer out were impossible for a shift working mum.  Today he was booked for between 8-9am which is nice to give you an hour window.  Mum thought she better get up and showered and dressed early so she was looking semi decent.  Then the phone went at 7.30am to say all was fixed.  Nice to get some good service isn't it?  Mum  was pleased.

So now we have lots of catching up to do.  Nice to see you all!

  4. Hurrah for internet access again! But if we read that correctly, no one even needed to come to your home to do this? Your mum got all showered and dressed up for no reason? :-)

P.S. We think this company better be giving you a credit on your monthly bill for the down time!

  7. I'm glad you two are back on-line. I recall when I was moving, I missed my packed books more than my disconnected internet. But I did miss finding out what was going on with all my Cat Blogosphere friends. It's good to see you again, Poppy.
