Autumn
Mum and I are having trouble giving up the nice weather. We know soooo many of our northern hemisphere friends had a rough cold winter, and are looking forward to their spring and summer.
How about we take our turn at being cold and even rainy, but could we keep a couple of blue skies? Mum says it is the blue skies she misses most over the winter. Yesterday she ventured out, and it was time for the merino top and scarf, but today we woke up and it was sunnier. So she is going to get out in the blue skies while they last.
Enjoy your spring and summer and look after it for us.

Poppy, you can always come stay with us during the Spring/Summer months; Mom says we'd love to have you!...xo...Calle,Halle,Sukki
ReplyDeleteYou can always come here too! Wow--we'd all have perpetual summer if we went and visited friends for half year, huh?
ReplyDeleteWe think Spring has got lost when you sent it to us. It is cold and raining nearly every day. We did have a little bit of sun today for a while though. We hope you have an easy winter.
ReplyDeleteIt's the changes that are the hardest. Once you get accustomed to the cooler weather, it is not so hard. And Mom says that if we didn't have winter, we would not appreciate Spring and Summer properly - we would take them for granted.

We don't like grey, dreary skies, either, Poppy. We hope you get lovely autumn sunshine soon!
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, here in southeastern Ontario, we've had such a dry winter and dry early Spring that we need rain, quite badly!
We will send the Spring back to you in 6 months, promise.
ReplyDeleteAutumn can sometimes be a lovely season, but we agree, it needs blue skies to feel that way. Hope you have lots of them!
