Intense

Mum says it has been an intense 13 days of working in a row and she is grateful to have most of the weekend free to relax and take it easy.  She finished work and rushed down to her hairdresser and was surprised to be the only customer in the salon, so it was just her and her stylist and the receptionist.  So mum got special treatment and felt very relaxed, as it is often noisy and busy with lots of customers there.

A quick and easy dinner for mum and some feast for me at a regular time - hallelujah!!!  Mum did laugh as I tried to snuggle on her knee about three times tonight, another sure sign that the weather has turned for us.

We hope all of our  American friends are enjoying their holiday and loving the hots.  We are green with envy at the thought of eating outside and being warm.  Have a steak and a piece of pie for us!!!

  4. You two have certainly earned some quiet snuggle time after 13 days of work! Surprisingly quiet here, but we have a neighbor who puts on a big fireworks show after dark every Fourth ;-)

  9. Poppy, dear, it's so thoughtful of you to snuggle with your mum now. Purring is very good for tired human nerves!

Alas, it's fireworks night here in the States. Like Guy Fawkes without the guy. All my furry roommates are under the beds, having enjoyed an early feast.
