Naps

Mum felt all stuffed up this morning and a bit of the hots and colds on the way to work. She felt the same round lunchtime, so she came home sick and took herself off to bed.  We quite enjoyed the nap, she slept from 3pm -8.30pm, and got up to feed me dinner, have a drink and a stretch and is heading off for an early night to try and get rid of the germs.  So many people are the same at work at the moment, it seems to be the seasonal flu attacking lots of patients and staff.    Luckily the oranges are cheap at the supermarket at the moment as mum has been ploughing through them to get lots of vitamin C the natural way.

    Not nice at all...Must agree with Mum, l always take my vitamin C the same way...Can't be doing with all that bottle stuff...Straight out the fruit, best way ever!
    Hope Mum's 100% soon...You take care of her mind...In between naps, of course!x Bless!

  2. Poppy, dear, you're absolutely right about the need for 14 hours of sleep daily! Poor Mum, she should have followed your excellent example earlier in the week -- but remember she soldiered on to keep you in feast!

  3. Winter seems to be the time for colds and flu, no matter what part of the world you live in, apparently. We hope the extra, much-needed (obviously) rest has helped her feel better.

  5. poppy q....az crazed az mums werk schedule iz... itz noe wunder her haza cold....tell her ta get sum coconut oil, 100 % pure...ina jar...coconut oil.....we swear by it ...N we swear at burdz two !! ♥♥
