Very Quiet Caturday

The mumster and I had a very quiet Caturday.  Mum did not feel so bad today,  and managed to get a couple of loads of washing out and some dishes done.  She read her book and watched the box.  She went for a walk in the afternoon, which made her realize that she still felt under the weather.  An easy dinner was cooked, mum has watched Australian Masterchef, and now is coming to help me make the bed before us girls head off to bed.  Another grey and cold day here - mum will be putting the winter blankets on the bed tonight.  Tis a balmy 12 deg - not high enough for our summer.  In fact the same temp as London - and they are in mid winter.

Ooops = change of mind.  She has switched the apple tv on and is going to watch a quick film.  5 Flights up with Morgan Freeman and Diane Keaton.  A nice light comedy for a middle aged lady is just the thing.

Hope you have all had a fabulous Caturday and got some fun things done!

  2. Quiet is good...we hope your mum feels 100% soon. Our biped has been battling a nasty head cold too. 12C isn't warm, but it's nice for us at this time of year. LOL. Actually, we had +16C on Monday or Tuesday, we've been very warm for December. Take care!

  3. Poppy, dear, that's an especially nice close-up of your eyes reflecting the green grasses! We know your mum worked hard to capture the image and we appreciate it. We'll call it "Christmas greens" from Poppy and consider it a gift!

  4. Wow Poppy, that is a very low temperature for the middle of summer. We are milder than London down here in the south west at 15C. We didn't get much above that during the summer.

  8. that low temperature sounds nice compared to what we have been having in Adelaide. More hot weather on the way, too. Hope it warms up a bit for you.
