One to Go

Just when mum has one night shift to go her body has adjusted, and she can get more than 2 hours sleep during the day and not yawn all night.  That is the way night shift goes, which many of our readers understand.  Me - I LOVE it when mum gets home, but it is too hot to sleep on her bed with her.

  1. Poppy, dear, be sure to remind Mum that if she pulls one outstretched leg, she needs to pull thee other three -- so they stay the same length. Pulling the tail to keep it straight is optional, so is the kiss on the head between the ears.

  2. Working shifts must be jarring, and there is always the problem of too much noise during the day to sleep when you need to. Then you probably spend the first day off sleeping, or just plain tired. I hope your mum gets some days off soon, Poppy.

  5. Will your mum have some days off work to enjoy the weather and adjust back to normal schedule? You do look so cute, Poppy.
