Chilling Caturday

Mum worked til Midnight last night keeping herself busy.  So I stayed at home and guarded the bed, made sure the sheets were smooth and ready for sleeping.  Us girls had a good sleep and mum didn't get up til after 8am.  She then got some relaxing done before heading into town to meet a bestie for lunch.  They had lots to talk about, which was good as service was super slow.  Then mum went off for a walk in the sunshine as it was warm, 15 degrees with the sun shining, it sure felt like spring.

So the evening was taking up by more relaxing, so it really felt like a lovely day off for us girls.  Hope you all got plenty of relaxing done too.

  1. I have had a busy week entertaining our guests in the mornings and evenings, so now I need to catch up with my nap time.

  3. Poppy, dear, this was exactly the sort of "down time" we middle-aged working ladies need in order to be "up and out and about", ready for battle!

  4. It sounds like your mum had a lovely day. We're longing for 15C, can't believe how insanely hot it's been all summer. Bleh. Can't wait for cool fall! :-)

    Purrs and peace.

  5. We're absolutely roasting here, Poppy. 15C sounds heavenly. We could with a bit of fresh, cool air.
