Finally Friday

Friday night is finally here and we are so happy, even though mum has to go to work on Saturday afternoon it still feels like the weekend.   There has been a slight chill in the air and we feel autumn is on the way.

Middle aged mum feels no need to head out on a Friday night and she was happy to come home and see me.  Dinner was made, a feast for me and she had a pork chop with new potatoes and green beans.  A pile of washing is on the line and now the dishes are about to be tackled.

We hope you are all looking forward to your weekend too.  Any plans?

  1. Ah! That sounds really nice Poppy!x
And, it looks like you finished the day,
in the moonlight! Though l'm a bit worried
about that cross..there! Bit early for Easter!

Quiet weekend for me, l hope, though visitors
do turn up for cups of tea and a chat, and, l
do my Sunday morning visit, to the supermarket!
And, it's gonna be a wet weekend...! :(.

  2. Miss Poppy,
My mom love those feeling too " come home for the cat " =^x^=
Now my dad is in Australia for his brother's birthday ( 50th ), and she stays home with me.
Love the picture of you, Miss Poppy !
    Have a great weekend

  3. It is a shame that most weekends are taken up by household chores rather than having a good rest!

  4. I'm like your mum, Poppy: I have no need to go out on Friday evenings - or weekends at all - except to do some chores or shopping. I will stay home with my cats.

  6. We stay in in Friday and Saturday evenings. Too crazy for us, terrible traffic, no parking and everywhere is so busy. During the day, the weather calls the shots. It will be quite cold her so it will be an inside day for us.
    Your mum's photo is gorgeous!
