When my visitors come, I like to wait til they are asleep, and then I sit and watch them and sniff their new smells.
This is my lovely niece Belle, and her and mum have been having a couple of lovely days. Belle arrived off the plane yesterday, and as it was a nice day her and mum went for a big walk around town, and did some exploring. Mum had also booked some tickets to see Avatar 3D, which are in great demand, and even though it was in the front row it was exciting. Until Belle said her tummy hurt, then she said it hurt real bad, then she said she had to go. So mum had to take her to the bathrooms, where although she felt real bad she wasn't sick.
Til she got home, and then she was sick real bad, so mum helped her to bed and a big nights sleep helped. Mum and her had a quiet day today, and back to adventuring tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteI was reading on another blog about how Avatar can make people sick, or give them a bad headache, due to the 3D aspects of it. So maybe it was the movie, and not a bug that Belle had. Though planes are notorious places to pick up germies.

How horrible for poor Belle. What a welcome. Maybe it was Avatar's 3D aspect along with sitting in so close. Stuff like that gives our mum the "car sick" feeling. But planes can be hot beds of germs too. We hope she's feeling better today.

It was that darn movie! Our Grandma bean told us that people are getting sick from the 3D and animation!

ReplyDeleteMummy went to see Avatar in 3D last night, too. She said she did feel a bit queasy in parts of it (she saw it on the big IMAX screen, which probably didn't help).
