This is my new sleepy spot. After months of summer, we finally had a hot, hot day and a hottish night. Mum can't decide if I wanted to sleep outside because it was hot, or because I went to the vet and had my jabs.
Her old cat Puss Angel, moved out onto the front porch for about 8 months, years ago. She had a big dog bed and a polar fleece blanket on top of a pillow. She loved her spot, rain or shine, and mum would have to go out if the wind or rain changed direction, and move her bed to a more sheltered spot.
So, mum can't wait to see where I sleep tonight. At the moment I am out lounging in the back yard. Sweet dreams friends.

Did you enjoy your hots, Poppy? We will share some of ours with you if you'd like. It is supposed to get to 40 degrees tomorrow. Not cool!

We think sleeping outside would be a lot of fun...'specially if there was the hots...we've never slept outside!
We think sleeping outside would be a lot of fun, too, but our mum won't let us. She won't even let us roam beyond our tiny enclosed back space! She says she doesn't trust Nicki to stay put, not to escape. He's quite determined to, you see. But we'd rather have your mum and get to sleep outdoors!

hi Poppy! We have times when our kitties pick new spots and love to sleep there for a while too - but then they change their minds and move someplace else! We bet you will probably stay there a while then pick someplace new!

That looks a nice spot to sleep in when the weather is hot. In summer if it is hot, I like to sleep in my plantpot in the greenhouse.

Hot, hot, hot. I wish! But our daylight is getting longer. It is still light now when mum comes home from work.
We wish we could have some warm weather like that here, Poppy. It looks like a nice sleeping spot.
