Here is proof that I went and sat almost close to Miss Belle. I think she didn't know that that is my end of the couch. The one I like to sit on.
Mum says she would like some proof of summer, like just two nice days in a row. We have had to many rainy and cloudys, and now we have the colds back.
We know we shouldn't be whiney. We have comfy beds to sleep in, and lots of noms to eat, and too many peoples and cats in the world aren't so lucky. So, we will think about them this weekend.
Have a lovely weekend everybuddy.
Visitors don't always know the rules Poppy. Maybe next time have your mum put up a sign?
ReplyDeleteoh Poppy, fabulous pictures!
ReplyDeleteShe looks so concentrated...Maybe next time she can play with you as well!
Have a wonderful weekend

Poppy you are brave to sit so close to a visitor (especially one sitting in your spot). I either sit on mums lap, or I just peek my head around into the room to watch what everyone is doing! Have a great weekend, and I hope the weather improves for you! Patsy :-)
ReplyDeletethis is a proof that you really are a Lady
ReplyDeleteYou are a brave ladycat, Pops.
ReplyDeletePoppy, I thought you were very brave!
ReplyDeleteWishing for some sunshine and warmer temps for us all!
Very cute the last pic! :p
ReplyDeleteI think you were very kind about the seating situation, Poppy. I often steal warm seats when my staff leave to use the box or help a customer. (But they should be trained better, so they have to deal with it.)
ReplyDeleteI can see you tried to show her how annoyed you were with her. Perhaps she needs to take a few lessons in cat language. Are you willing to teach her on her next visit?

It looks like you are being very patient Poppy.
ReplyDeleteShe was very lucky to be able to share a couch with you. I'm sure she knows that.
ReplyDeleteWe think your mum needs to post the rules of the house according to Poppy so visitors know what is and what is not acceptable.
ReplyDeleteVery gracious of you, dear Poppy, to allow Belle to sit in YOUR spot.
ReplyDeleteWe wonder if you might actually be considering liking her.
Wish we could get you a summer. Maybe we can all get together and purr really hard and entice old Mr. Sun to wake up!
Have a lovely and relaxing weekend, Poppy....with lotza catnaps.
ReplyDeletePoppy, she should have relinquished that end of the couch to the rightful owner ... YOU! We are wishing for warmer weather too so the ice on the lake and the snow on the roads will go away!

Sabrina, Sam and Simon
I think you really didn't mind sharing all that much. Hope you have a warm & wonderful weekend PoppyQ!!!
ReplyDeleteI think that is kind of you to share your sofa with them.
ReplyDeletewhat a relaxing pictures :)
ReplyDeleteyou are one lucky kitty!!
We complain too. We have rain. More rain. And, when you thought it would stop ... it POURS. This meowning we had a wind storm with .. you quessed it ... RAIN.
ReplyDeleteAnd who says you're Anti~Social??? We hope your nice weather comes soon!!! have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteMy papa ALWAYS steals my spot. I have it right now. Sometimes I just stare at him. He says it creeps him out. Whatever that means, but he moves. Never underestimate the power of staring.
ReplyDeleteSmoochies my love,
Rusty
That was very rude of her to sit on your end of the couch. If mum sits in my recliner, I give her a very hard look.
ReplyDeleteYou have to teach visitors your rules!
ReplyDeleteSuch a brave kitty to sit so close. We don't know if we could do that. Usually we run away.
ReplyDeleteThat was nice of you to share your end of the couch!
ReplyDeleteI agree, visitors really don't know our rules--yet it was nice you shared the couch! :) I think accent the blue quite nicely.
