Sunday Sleeps

Mum worked all day again today , but only an 11 hour day instead of yesterday's 14 hour one.  So she got home and dished out my feast.  I did surprise her by begging her for a taste of her lamb chop and ate and enjoyed the tiniest bit.

Now this where I am curled up while mum watches 60 minutes on the tele.  Her back aches from the busy weekend and she is looking forward to a nice sleep.   It is raining outside and we are both pleased to be inside with the heaters on.

  3. "Only" 11 hours for your mum. That's a lot, especially if she's standing most of the time (or even sitting, so hard on the body). Anyway, we hope she had a wonderful rest. YOU certainly have a nice, cosy spot to rest, Poppy!

  4. What a great life you have poppy. Tasty piece of chop followed by that cosy little corner to sleep in. What dreadful long hours mum works. Make sure you tip toe around the house when you wake in the morning.

  9. Eleven hours is still a long work day. Your poor mum. Poor you, Poppy, to wait so long for mum to be home to serve your feast.

  10. That looks like a cosy spot, Poppy. Eleven hours may be better than fourteen, but it's still must be a great strain for your mum. I hope she gets to rest a bit now.
