Sunday betrayal

While I snoozed quietly at home, my mum was betraying me by scratching and playing with another kitty. She went out to a friends christmas dinner, and because it was late, stayed the night. Her friends cat Miss Mollie, is very shy and hid under mums bed while she was reading. As soon as the light switched off, she climbed out and jumped on the bed, and went to sleep by my mums feet. Hey, thats where I sleep!!

Mum then went to the pet store and made googley eyes at puppies. No, we aren't getting one, it is just that mum loves little puppies (someithing about her ovaries needing something little to love). She has me, that's enough.

She didn't get home til midday. So I demanded fancy feast and greenies. Then she went out again.

But, she has had to take a day off work next week, as we are truly down to our last 3 crunchies and few cans of the feast. She better buy loads, to make up for not coming home last nite.

Have a great week everybuddy.

  3. I hope you showed her the back of disrespect when she got home, Poppy. That is unacceptable behaviour.

  4. You should ignore her to teach her a lesson!

  5. Poppy, I understand your sense of betrayal completely. Did you know part of my mum's job is to snuggle with the kitties who are on holiday at the vet, and play with the dogs who come in as strays? She comes home covered in all sorts of smells, none of which are good!

We think you should get greenies mixed in with your feast every day this week!

  7. The part about Mollie sleeping with her probably gives you great concern, but in defense of your Mom, it was Molly's decision, not hers. I think it is kind of sweet the way Molly hid under the bed until lights out, and then came and slept with your Mom.

  13. How dare she! Make sure you fur her up with your sweet scent. She belongs to you. Sometimes I give my mommy extra cuddles ALL NIGHT LONG when she visits other kitties. She likes this a lot.

  14. That does not sound fair at all. I hope you were pampered with lots of attention (which you could ignore) and treats after!

  16. What is it with mum's and other kitties and woofies. Stock up with your foods, you can't run out during the hollyday.

  17. Poppy, love. You should be very flattered that Miss Molly chose to sleep with your mum. Miss Molly is a shy kitty but yet she found she could trust your mum and could relax in her company. You should be very proud to have such a wonderful mum.

  18. At lease she did not have to sleep alone while away. You know how they get when that happens!

  21. What an ordeal. We understand you're tired. You'll have to teach your human a lesson or two. But we're sure you're just the cat for that job.

  25. Oh, Poppy, Poppy, Poppy. What are we going to do with our mums? How can they leave us like that? Our mum will be spending Christmas Eve night with her sister and her fambly (who have 2 cats and a dog!) and won't even be here with us Christmas morning. But she did go out today and buy a small automatic dry food feeder so we won't run out of food.
