Stretch

Imbetween rain spells, I like to go outside and stretch, a little bit.

7 Hours

This weekend we got approximately 7 hours of sunbeams. We enjoyed them. As soon as mum got her turkey coloured legs out in the sun, the clouds came over.

Come Christmas Shoping with Me - Saturday Shopping with Pops

As you may know, there are only a few weeks left til Christmas. Mum says she has a few presents bought already, but needs to get a wriggle on. This year, we don't have room for a christmas tree, but have put some decorations up already.

We did a search on ETSY, our favorite shopping site. There are so many wonderful artists selling their fantastic goods, which are delivered to your door, and best of all you can go shopping in your underwear - without leaving the house.

Rain

Mum it looks like rain again!!!! Grrrrr, we could do with a sunny weekend, but never mind.

Thanks for all of the Thanksgiving wishes. We don't celebrate that holiday here in New Zealand, but we understand what a huge family holiday it is in the states. We try though, to be thankful every day for the lucky life we live. We hope that all of our friends have got to have a great Thanksgiving, and got to have lots of yummy things to eat, and time with their loved ones.

Reggae Windows

We have shown you our reggae windows before. They are in the spare room, and when the sun shines in early in the morning, I like to roll around on the spare bed.


Mum got these pictures this morning, and she told me to enjoy my stretching.

Cause the weather lady has predicted a rainy weekend.

And she dragged some sticks around on the path, where I chase them.

Last Week of Spring

Our local weatherman, said it was the last week of spring this week. We can't believe it!! We have only had about 1 day in 10 of sunshines, and not very many hots. We know we shouldn't complain, as some of our Aussie mates are sweltering, and our Northern Hemisphere chums are getting cooler.

Mum says she has nothing against grey, as you can tell, it is just that she is sick of the grey skies. Still the cloudy day today meant we got a great photoshoot, and we will share the snapshots we took with you all week.

Just Me and My Mum

The house is empty now, all the visitors have gone leaving just me and my mum. So I get my window seat bed back. Here you can see my view out the window, on a sunny day we had last week. No sunny days this weekend, just clouds and rain.

So I have got to sniff the socks of all the men in the family this week, first Gdad, then big uncle and Budly dudley (my nephew). I was very brave coming in to the meet the boys, usually I just hide outside in the garden.

Finally Friday

Finally Friday, and I have more visitors. I hope they leave me a spot to sleep.

Poppy Princess and the Pea

Mum has piled up the quilts on the spare bed for me. So I am lying on about 8 quilts and four pillows. It is very comfy, and allows me to pair out of the window and see over the window ledge.

I love it, especially because my fave grey quilt is on top. Mum thinks I am like the Princess and the Pea, on a mountain of mattresses.

Feeling Better

Thanks for worrying about me and my mum. Both of us are feeling better after being sick at the weekend, mums tum is settling after a bad, bad case of food poisoning. She still feels tired and not hungry yet, but she is soooo much better than Saturday night.

Last night, my Grandad stayed over. He had driven down for a funeral and spent the evening at our house. As you can see, I am helping to warm his pyjamas for him. We hope you like fur Gdad.

Poorly

Mum says thank you all for the get well wishes. She has had to have two days rest, after her bout of food poisoning, as she still feels sick and weak. She is drinking lots of fluids, but not feeling like eating.

To make her feel not so alone, I was sick today to. Once on the carpet, and once on the floor in just about the same spot she had been sick on while rushing to the bathroom. So the floors are getting a good wash tonight.
