Gotcha Day

This was me exactly one year ago, I was an itty bitty kitty - only 7 weeks old and my mummy brought me home.




Today is my first ever gotcha day !!! Yippeee!!


Mum is going to give me a special dinner, and I is going to spend the day rolling around on the floor by the back door stretching , and outside sniffin more bricks and catching some moths.

My Friday Friend - Last one of 2007

My Friday Friend is an important part of my blog. It is where I gets to tell you about other cool cat bloggers. Many of my friends and fambly does not know of all the cool cats out there, so this is for them (and for you).

It is my friend Chance !! Has you met him? He is the cute tuxie boycat who Mr Hendrix helped. His beans neighbours had stopped for coffee and chance the kitty had climbed under the bonnet of their car. They then travelled for 3 hours with a wee kitty stuck under there!!

Mr Hendrixs mommy took chance to the vet, where he had some pelvic fractures and a sore tail. Then she helped him find a new furrever home, by spreading the word on their cool blog http://mrhendrixthekitty.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html

His new mum drove lots of hours to Mr hendrixs house to pick up chance and take him to his furrever home. She even had a new Gizzy quilt in the car for him, and had started his blog before he got to his new house!! His new blog is at http://chancebond.blogspot.com/

Now he is going to be my little brother. My big brother Monty Q adopted him, that makes him now related to me. Welcome to the fambly little brother. Watch out for Monty Q, he sure is cheeky.

One of my bestest presents was a purple mousie - thanks T & F. As soon as my mum helped me unwrap it, I snatched it off her and chased it around da house. I don't know where it is now. Come out, come out wherever you is purple mousie.

We has to open our presents, and has some breakfast and hopefully mum doesn't get called into work too early.

Secret Paws revealed

This is the dude that got my secret paws parcel. His name is Pablo and he is a famous mancat who lives with his bean in Tasmania, Australia. You may have seen him on his blog http://meowpablog.blogspot.com/ and did you know he even has a fanclub, full of girlcats too!!

My Friday Friend Santa

Well it was a tough race to my friday friend this week. I was going to let you know who my secret paw was, but HE is going to post about it at the weekend. So won't steal his thunder this week, instead I chose a very special friend, who I only met recently.

• He lives with his mom and his boybean in the US.
• He sure knows how to rock a santa hat.
• He is the only munchkin cat I know who is my friend.

Meet my special friend - his name is Wiggles. His mom has a great blog at :http://dreammom.blogspot.com/ I has spoken about dream mom before. She is a very special lady, who blogs about the joys and challenges of living with her Dear Son. He has special needs and they have had a busy year. Both of them have had health issues and spent too many days inside hospitals in the past twelve months.

This year my mum, dropped into Dream Moms blog to tell her that she is doing a wonderful job with her son, and with sharing their stories, its ups and downs. We knows that it must be tough for her, watching the milestones, worrying about the future, coping with everything when your back is sore and you are tired. Dream Mom, you are awesome and we know that by writing in your blog, you will be helping others. We know that you give so much of yourself in your writing, and sometimes your thoughts go places that scare you. We know that you have taken some time to laugh too, to read some of the great cat blogs out there and to comment on so many of my posts.



We were so excited when Dream Mom acknowledged us and let us into one of her darkest secrets - she has a cat!! Secretly we know he would love to have a cat blog, but we know that finding spare time to do is impossible at the moment. Wiggles you can join in anytime and I hope your mom shows some of our blogs to you. I really really liked Wiggles christmas pictures, with him in his christams santa hat - thems very manlycattly.

Night Patrol

Night patrol was good last night. I runned around the outside of the house, I sniffed in the garden. I sniffed the fence , mmm I could smell intruders dere. I den runned back inside, ate some biscuits, drunk some water, checked my mum was snoring and den I jumped on my mum and curled up and went to sleep.

Last night I snuggled on my mums lap twice. This doesn't happen often.

When mum got home I was asleep on her bed and stayed there from 5pm til now (9.20pm). Mum was worried I was sick. I not sick - I am just saving my energy for night patrol.

My Friday Friend

Hello my little lovely friends. Mum I has a very special friend to introduce to you all this week for my Friday Friend.

A. She lives in this groovey place - does you know where it is? A clue it was taken at 3pm this month, so yes that is the sunset time.

B. She loves food and travel.

C. She is a bean who loves pussy cats!!

It is my friend Pia, who lives in Stockholm,dats in Sweden where ABBA comes from. She is a vegetarian and a lawyer, so that makes her very smart (she is pretty too!!). Best of all, she breeds british shorthairs, dats the kind of breed of pussycat dat I am. Hers are very cute kittens and thems is just about ready for their new furrever homes, at christmas time.

Secret Paws is on the way

Dear Secret Paws friend,

Your parcel was delivered to the post office today. My paws are all sticky from taping your presents up (that's right I said PRESENTS). I hoope you like what I got you with all my pocket monies. The ladee there says you should get it next week (dat means before christmas).

Mum says if you don't like any of it, you can send it back to me. I love it all.

By the way I will give you one clue: You is a boy!!

Sophiekitty, once you gets a blog you is allowed to join in secret paaws. My friends organize it as a pussycat, and not of my species friends present swap. You never know, you may get a christmas present from a goat, a hamster or a woofie. Dis is the first year I has done it and I am all excited.

See how everyone helped out with the photo advice. Dem secretarys think they know it all.

I am glad to hear your moms arm is getting better. All ready for the holiday season and blogging.

Usually your digital camera has a couple of settings, which allow you to make pictures with different numbers of pixels. A larger number, gives a better detailed picture but takes up more space on your compooter and takes longer to download. My secretary uses a middle setting on her camera (SQ1 2048x1536).

If you goes into your picture folder on your compooter, and hover with the cursor over a picture your mommy has taken with your digital camera , you will see some informations come up. Most of the pictures I use, are about 600kb and this is fine for blogger. We also save our pictures as jpeg images (there are lots of different ones you can use).

One other thing that will influence the photos you can use on your blog is what kind of speed your internet is. I don't know if dial up would be fast enough for blogger, as it would take forever to download a picture. We has a pretty fast broadband, that means our pictures only take about 20-45 seconds to download (seems forever sometimes).

I hope that helps you in planning your blog. Please feel free to ask any questions. I promise you that blogging is pretty easy.
