Today was fathers day and we hope all the dads out there had a lovely day with hugs and kisses, good food and lotto tickets of course!! This is our Gdad and nana. Gdad died this year and mum misses them every day. He would want everyone to have a magnum for their supper - so go ahead treat yourself!!
The mumster worked today and it was busy and non stop. She got to have a lunch break, but the rest of the day was spent rushing around without sitting down. Sometimes mum wishes she had a desk job where she got to sit on her butt all day. She knows it is meant to be good for you to be on your feet, but it sure was hard work. So tonight, she is ready to crash and us girls are heading to bed real early. So nighty nite!!

Tough Week
We are back home at our place now. It has been a tough week this week for mum. This time last week her lovely dad Gdad died peacefully. Mum was lucky that she was able to make it up to his place in time to spend his last day with him. It sure was tough, but such a privileged to be by his side holding his hand and telling him how much he was loved as he passed.
This is mums mum and dad on their wedding day. Dad was 19 and mum was only 17 - and they had to get a court order in order to get married, and they did not have their parents permission. Their landlords were their witnesses with only a couple of mums sisters there. Mum was pregnant with big uncle and their marriage lasted for 44 years until Mum died in 1995. They sure look sweet in this photo - quite the lookers!!
Dad was lucky. He found a lovely lady to love in the last year of his life. So there is still hope in your 70's of finding true love. She looked after him and made him very happy. How lucky to have two lovely ladies in his life.
We love you Gdad.

Gdad
Sorry again that we have been gone. Mum has gone to spend time with her family. She got to be with her dad last night as he passed away. Mum and his partner were holding his hands and talking to him as he died. Just the way he wanted it to go.
so mum will spend some more days with her family - I will stay at the cattery a few more days and then we will post again.
RIP Gdad - we love you.

Feeling Better
Thanks for worrying about me and my mum. Both of us are feeling better after being sick at the weekend, mums tum is settling after a bad, bad case of food poisoning. She still feels tired and not hungry yet, but she is soooo much better than Saturday night.
Last night, my Grandad stayed over. He had driven down for a funeral and spent the evening at our house. As you can see, I am helping to warm his pyjamas for him. We hope you like fur Gdad.

Busy
Wow it has been a busy week. G'dad is still here. Mum and him went out for a drive today, and had a look around the harbour, and town. They went to the botanical gardens and looked at the nice roses. They looked in the cafe there but it was very expensive, so they drove to a cheaper one and had a tasty lunch.
Mum worked tonight, and G'dad went visiting friends. So I had the house to mycatself. I am getting used to visitors, especially ones like G'dad who know how to dish out the biscuits.
