Mum got sucked into looking at the internet to the wee hours last night, and woke up early as it was a lovely morning. The landlord came round and pulled apart the table and benches that were rotten, did some gardening and took the rubbish to the dump. Mum has realized now that I have nothing to jump out of the window onto, so might have to buy something for me otherwise my escape route has gone.
As she was up early she went to the supermarket to get some chicken/mince/bacon and vegetables for the freezer. People were looking a bit tense but the shelves were full looking. She is feeling confident now that there is not much else she could run out of.
We had a nap before dinner. Our nights are cooling quickly and it is dark early. Autumn is now underway - we hope that our friends in the Northern Hemisphere are feeling signs of spring.

Busy
I have been busy helping mum today. She had the day off and used it to relax and talk to me. I helped supervise her with the washing of the dishes and all of her clothes and towels. Good work mum.

Busy
Mum and I have still been busy in our staycation. Mum seems to be enjoying catching up on months of sleep. I have been enjoying the sunny days and are outside scratching.

Busy
Mum got real busy last night and didn't get a chance to post. Getting ready for night shift is a bit depressing. Although she had the day off it is hard to shake the ominous feeling if having to head off for work when your body just wants to sleep.
Still we got some quality time together. I don't purr a lot but she got some out of me when we played with a pen and my bag.
So 4 shifts down and 3 night shifts to go. Then we can get back to normal sleeps. It is getting cold too and I need mum to snuggle with.

Leaky Eyes

We have just heard the saddest news on this, our Sunday night. Our sweet friend Mr Tabbydude Pabs got his calling to the bridge. He was one tough fella, dealing with the kidney disease and all, but his struggling had gone on long enuf. Sweet Kate and Nick, with their young blurby boy, had given him a great life in Tassie Australia, and they were with him at the end.
Run free at the bridge Mr Pabs. It has been an honour to know you and call you our friend.
Smooches

Where did the weekend go? It has been busy, mum and her friend went off to a big country fair yesterday, and then spent Saturday night helping me find the outsides.
Today was a lazy day, with not much done except a few chores, then mum went to see Black Swan, she said it was ok, rather loud and quite dark. It is 8.49pm and mum is still cooking her dinner!!
Hope you all had a nice weekend too.

Busy
It's been a busy day here on the street. It is rubbish day, and as the sun is out all day and hot, everything is very stinky. Perfect for a nosy grey cat and all my feline neighbours.
Don't forget to enter my competition to win a copy of Pet Magazine, where my mum is interviewed and Misha gets to write two articles. You can leave a comment on Tuesdays post to enter.

Busy
Wow it has been a busy week. G'dad is still here. Mum and him went out for a drive today, and had a look around the harbour, and town. They went to the botanical gardens and looked at the nice roses. They looked in the cafe there but it was very expensive, so they drove to a cheaper one and had a tasty lunch.
Mum worked tonight, and G'dad went visiting friends. So I had the house to mycatself. I am getting used to visitors, especially ones like G'dad who know how to dish out the biscuits.
