What Mum Said Yesterday Morning

Many of my furriends wondered what my mum said when she woke up to find me playing with my deaded mousie in her bed. She said "hello miss Poppy, what do you have there?". Then she told me I was a good girl and a good mouser.

Then she got the dustpan and brush and picked him up and threwed him over the fence.

I don't know why I wasn't allowed to keep him til chrismouse?

Happy hunting everybuddy.

  2. I am glad she told you you were a good hunter. After all you were giving her a gift from the heart and those are the best (the Woman always thanked Georgia for her gifts too because she was always so proud.)

  7. My mum always tells me I am a good boy too. She doesn't like it so much when I bring them in still alive though.

Sometimes we forget that our beans don't find mousies as delectable as we do.

  12. Oh my Bast, I can't believe you did that. Great work, Poppy!! If we put a deaded mousie on Mom's bed, you'd hear her scream all the way to New Zealand.

  17. My sisters have been leaving mice, rats and squirrels for me in the yard. Mommy squeals when I pick them up and try to bring them to her. I get told "LEAVE IT" very loudly. Why would she want me to leave a perfectly good present. ~Fenris

  26. poor little mouse, but he (?) does look good in the santa hat. i'm not sure i would have acted as calmly as your mum if finding a dead being in my bed. i have to agree with the above comment of she's a keeper...;)
