Welcome Autumn

Today is our first day of autumn.  Summer left with a bang, as mum left work it was pouring, and she had no coat.  She got half way home and realised that she had left her kindle sitting on the bench, so had to go back and get it - silly mum.

We are trying to embrace the autumn, but are not enjoying the dark cooler mornings already.  However there are some things we do enjoy:  snuggles by the heater, nice winter soups, a good woollie jumper, mum enjoys winter clothes better than summer ones, not feeling guilty about going to the movies (too hard in the summer time if the weather is nice) and the fact that every day of autumn/winter is a day closer to next summer.
