Cold and Dark

I had to wait outside in the cold and dark for my mum to come home tonight, as she was late and didn't get back til after 8pm - thats two hours past fancy feast time.  Mum said that as soon as she came around the corner of our street she could hear me calling out for her.  She promises to be home earlier tomorrow night.
