Long

It has felt like a long week so mum and I are pleased that there is one more sleep until the weekend.  We finally got a sunny afternoon so mum rushed home to sit in the sun and read her book first an hour or so.  Then chicken tacos for her dinner and I had chicken feast.

 Mum is tired but has a body that can nod if between 5pm and 8pm easily and is wide awake between 10pm and 1am.  Oh well at least once she falls asleep she stays asleep until the alarm bell wakes her up.  She wishes that she could be a cat and fall asleep anytime like me.  Sadly her boss won't let her curl up every hour.  It would be a long working day if she took 8 naps a day like me.

Long

Today is a long day for mum.  Up before 6am, she is on call tonight so it might be a while before it is her bedtime.  So she curled up with me for a little 1.5 hour nap tonight.  Now I have taken over the bed for a few hours while mum watches the box.
