Sunny Sunday

We had a lovely morning here this morning, the sun was busy shining, so me and mum got some chores done.  She got towels and my wool blankie out on the line.  Mum did some dishes and some tidying and thought she should head out for a walk.  It was a beautiful day out, warm and bright blue skies, and it looked like all of the capital city was out in the fresh air.  Mum popped into a couple of shops to do some window shopping, and by the time she came out, it was cloudy and cold and ready to rain.

So she came home to make some dinner, have a nap and ring the family and get all ready for the week ahead.

Sunny Sunday

So it's Sunday here, and after days of drizzle the sun is shining.  Mum is going to go for a walk in the sun and soak up some rays. 

 Mum tried another juice this morning watermelon+apple+celery+nectarine.  She is annoyed that she forgot to use the plums that she had meant to add.  She thinks the juicer would be a great idea if you have a compost pile, as it produces lots of solid waste that mum just throws out.  Her garden is not large enough to support a compost pile, and mum doesn't like digging around in worms, they freak her out.
