Today a Taste of Spring

Look what we found in our garden!! Something thinks it is spring already - and we must admit with clear blue skies and a warm warm day it felt like it. Mum was even able to get out after work and pull out a few weeds - only a million more to go mum.

The clear weather however means a big winter blast will be tucked up behind it, just to remind us that it really is wintertime.

  4. Those are very pretty :-) Maybe it's not a tease and the rest of your winter will be milder. That would be wonderful!

  8. What kind of flower is that? It really is beautiful. I wish we could send you some of our warm. It's hot and muggy-a normal but not wonderful combination for weather in July in Iowa!! The weeds LOVE it!

  9. Some of the cherry blossom trees are starting to come out over here! But it's still freezing, and we've had lots of snow in Tasmania (but not where I live). Kate hasn't played in the garden with me for months, and to look at the garden, it shows! Come on spring!!
