Minkfest Monday?

When the skies are cloudy and cold, and we know we are lucky as we don't get snow here where we live. This picture is from the end of last week, when there were some lovely red sunsets, that made the houses above us look like they were on fire.

You need your mum to put the new polar fleece mink blankie on the bed, the one that is almost the same colour as you. We know it is mancat Monday, but maybe it should be minkfest Monday instead? Mum says it is the perfect thing to snuggle under and read her book on a chilly night.

  1. Minkfest sounds purrfect for a cold winter's night! That sky is very beautiful! Mom is from New England where it gets cold and snows during the winter. She hasn't lived there since 1975 because of the snow. She doesn't mind the cold so much, but hates driving in the snow.

  23. It's funny reading your posts in the opposite seasons. We're sweltering and you're snuggling under a minkfest.

And in a few months, the seasons will be reversed. Then we'll be wishing we had a minkfest.

  27. We have a mink blankie that our "Daddy" brought back from Korea. We love that in the winter time, but it's way too hot for it now!

We're glad you have one to keep you warm during your winter.
