3 Reasons to Celebrate

  1. 1-1 NZ VS ITALY results from morning. Did you know that we are ranked 78th in the world, and Italy are the world champs. Everyone was soooo happy today.
  2. It is the winter solstice here today, the shortest day of the year, a sign of spring returning to us.
  3. Antiques Roadshow is back on Prime tv at 7.30 pm, mum is very happy.

  1. Yay to 1 and 2! Not so into antiques - I get told off if I wiggle my bum near them!

  2. The football results are stellar!

#1 says she wishes we got Antiques Roadshow here in France...

  3. We love Antiques Roadshow here, too. Mum used to watch it with her dad, who is convinced he is sitting on millions of dollars worth of old junk.

We couldn't believe the soccer results. We're jumping on the bandwagon with mum! :)

  9. Yes, those 3 are great reasons to celebrate! Well done to NZ in the soccer! We are looking forward to the days getting warmer... and then we'd be off to Malaysia, so it's our last winter for a good while!
Mummy's not really into antiques but she loves watching Antiques Roadshow, especially because Cat Daddy's Dad is really into that show!

  13. Yay for the Solstice! Well, for us, it's now summer, but we start losing daylight hours again. Boo. We wouldn't mind winter if it weren't so long and so friggin' cold. Months and months and months and months of cold. And dark.

Wait, we're getting ahead of ourselves. We think we'll just enjoy our summer right now! Fall and winter will come soon enough, sadly.

P.S. Our human doesn't get to see Antiques Road Show anymore, because stupid CBC Newsworld switched formats a while go to all news, 24/7. So their good programming is all gone, and the regular CBC station doesn't seem to carry it. (This is the UK--the original--version, we mean. Not the US knock-off, which our human also likes but seldom sees.)
