Slow Saturday

Mum went to work from 3am-4.30am last night, but managed a wee sleep in and still went out to meet her friends. Dinner was at the usual place and a movie before getting home with me at 6.30. Winds are blowing up from Antartica, so all the heaters are on tonight.

We are feeling a wee bit house bound at the moment, as the weather has been reminding us it still has quite a bit of winter to go, before the sun comes back.

We hope you are all having a great weekend, and enjoying yourselves. Catch a few sunbeams for me.

  1. We feel the same here... Rumblemum was gonna go do stuff, but it was just so cozy to sit on the sofa with us and watch Doctor Who...

  3. "Winds are blowing up from Antarctica..."

That took us back a bit, but of course you would get the wind from there. We're so used to winds blowing down from the Arctic here. LOL.

Do stay warm and cosy, Poppy!

  7. We wish we could send you some of our sunbeams as we are getting way more than we are used to. We aren't complaining about it though. They are very welcome, we just wish they were a little cooler.

  8. You're welcome to come up here and take some of our sunbeams. We'll share. And TSB would love another greykitty to cuddle - especially since I won't let her! MOL

  9. I WILL catch you some sunbeams, Poppy - how should I ship them to you, though?

Wind from Antarctica - now that certainly makes me think COLD. My human grandpa visited Antarctica once in 1968. Brrrrrrrr.

  10. Poppy, our techno team here at the Lounge will get to work on a giant mirror array to send some sunbeams from our house to yours. Now, how much is a rocket launch gonna cost us? More than a can of Fancy Feast?

  11. Oh, Poppy, wish we could send you some of our sunbeams. We seem to have an overabundance right now and it sounds like you can really use some. Stay warm!

  12. Same with us. We've had a really wet weekend too. Every morning the grass is wet and cold on our feet.

  15. I had sunbeams today as I visited Huntington Beach to see my son. We had lunch and a movie together. Rusty stayed home on his cloud. He loves a good place to snuggle.
