Now, I have to admit that I did laugh out loud when I saw the photo! Sorry, Poppy Q! I also agree that they could have been a little less harsh with the name. How about "Big boned gal" management?
Oh no, Poppy, not you! Surely this vet is mistaken. You're a British Shorthair. You're not an Oriental Shorthair. He must have gotten mixed up. And goodness, " Obesity Management". Obese...what a value laden word. Awful! And speaking of awful, the taste of diet foods, bleeh! Tell your mum not to make you eat it if you don't like it. Tell her to request samples of every food on the market until you find one you like. Even when we did as our vet said and started off mixing 1 part new to 3 parts old there was some we just couldn't stomach. Oh poor beautiful girl!
Bless your heart Poppy looks like we are both in the same boat w/o any extra food!!! I was told in July that I could not get any heavier. For the last 2 years I've gained about 1/2 pound....it is very hard to do.
Oh poppy Q!!!
ReplyDeleteYou & caro need to play together.
Poor poppy! Poor mum having to put up with those hungry looks.

WHAT?! That couldn't possibly be for you, Poppy. We know you are just big boned.
ReplyDeleteThere's no shame in needing to change your diet, but don't you wish they had a more subtle name for the food?
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't look like Fancy Feast to us!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletePoppy! No. You are simply robust and hearty!
ReplyDeleteHahahahahahaha!
ReplyDeleteSorry, that was our mean mom, who burst out laughing at the photo.
Oh, Poppy, we agree with the Admiral, you are robust and hearty, no need for a d-i-e-t!
