Escape Hatch

The glass man came yesterday to install my escape hatch. Mum left it unlocked today while she was at work, but I didn't use it, and she figures I will try it out in my own time. Cos it is a bit higher than I am used to, she might need to build some steps up to it.

  2. How exciting! Although I am not surprised you did not use it. It is cool enough to know that it is there.

PS : If you don't mind, my mom asked when the glass man come to install it. Do they need to take out the door to cut the glass ? and how long it take they install ?

  11. That is a very nice escape hatch. Mum had to take the flap out of ours because I don't like anything touching my nose and wouldn't use it.

  13. VERY nice looking escape hatch, Ms. Poppy! Be careful out there!!

My cats would LOVE one, too, but I've had to say no for two reasons...1)I have indoor/outdoor cats and 3 cats that are indoor only, and 2)I have many hungry raccoons that would figure out how to use it pretty quick. Last thing I want is to wake up to a hungry raccoon in the house!!

  16. That is kinda high...you will need to stretch to hop thru...maybe a little cardboard scratcher would help just a tad...
