Belated Mum Presents

 Two weeks ago it was my mums birthday and usually I present her with a jewellery present.  She is sorry about the delay in showing what I chose, but she has been sick and the camera was broke.  Anyways now we have pictures I can show you what I chose.  Above is a little brooch to go on her jacket.  It is from a kiwi couple of girls called 'Smash Palace'  - they use old china cups and plates to make brooches, rings and earrings.  After the Christchurch earthquake, they went down south and helped ladies at a workshop there make momentos out of all the broken china, which was a real nice thing to do.

I also got her this little bud vase, to put by her bedside table.  There are new blooms out in the garden now and us ladies like flowers.
