Mum got to see a bit of sunshine, and have a picnic lunch by the beach.
She got to hang out with the niece and nephew, who are now taller than her and still growing.
So far today mum hasn't caught me scratching the couches, and she will growl if I do. I am allowed to sharpen my claws on the trees and deck outside, not the furniture.

A picnic with the kids sounds fun! Our Mom understands Nieces and Nephews getting taller. It is a big deal to them, but Mom says that most peop;e are taller than her unless they are under 12!
ReplyDeleteDo you have any scratchers for when you are indoors? Maybe that would give you something better to scratch on than the couches - after all, scratching is 30% just scratching, 30% stretching and 40% showing something belongs to you! And you want everyone to know that the inside belongs to you as much as the outside!
ReplyDeleteThat picnic by the beach sounds like fun! Your Mom growls at you? Mom blows on us when we do bad things. MOL!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a great time. Yes, Sparkle is right about the scratching and sometimes scratching is relieving anxiety so there should be some things to do that all over the place.
ReplyDeleteWe guess sun for Mum means sun for you too? Perhaps it is reasonable, her requirements about scratching. Where do you get to scratch when you are indoors that she won't growl about?
ReplyDeleteSparkle really has this scratching thing down. Do you have a scratched inside your home? We never used ours until mum found out they need to be a third taller than the highest we can reach. (We still sneak scratches on the couch, much to mum's dismay.)
