Corners of Our House

 Mum has a thing for blue bowls and vases.  They add a bit of colour all year around, especially in the grey wintery months that are ahead.
 Our linen cupboard is pretty full.  So full that there is not room for a grey kitty like me to fit in and have a snooze.
 A corner of mums bedroom - she could never be a minimilist like some of the peoples houses she sees in magazines.  We think they look sterile, like laboratories and show no personality.  We like to have some pretties around.
 Like these ones, tucked into another corner of mums room.
Our living room has a few sweeties on the wall too - things that makes us smile.

Mum says that she loves to see around other peoples houses, and we hope you liked seeing some of our house.

    Pretties are good for your soul! Have you tried Pinterest.com Julie? It's like having beautiful magazines delivered to your home every day - and you can 'cut' the pretty pictures and 'pin' them on your boards to look at whenever you want... very addictive... XO

    I use to love all that kind of stuff, and I still do. It's just that the older I get, the less I want. I see it all now as something to clean, something to pack and something move. Old and weary... I has that.

    Oh we love the blue things! They are such a pawsome shade of blue too. It looks like you like heart pretties as well. Everything likes so nice and the linen closet is deeeevine!

    The greens and blues are pretty, as are the rest of your mum's "pretties". Our mum doesn't like minimalism either.
