Mum has knitted another lot of mask extenders for her work colleagues. She has made 35 so far, but has more to do. At the moment she has to wear surgical masks the whole time at work, except when drinking and eating. She also has to wear them on public transport and in places like supermarkets and at the library , which can be a long 10 hours of mums day. Mums poor ears get quite sore most days. Mum is trying to make one for everyone she works with and for her friends as well.

Maybe mum won't even catch a cold.
They look amazing. When on earth does mum find the time to do that? Could she line the bits that go ove the ears with velvet. They are only going to get worse if this awful virus continues. I daw on the news they have developed a pill. Let’s hope great progress is made like the flu injection. From the age of 14 I got flu every year. My husband never caught it. He must have had inbuilt tmmunity. Once the pill was available I never got flu again. Let’s hope that happens soon. 🥰
