I'm back in the mumsters good books again.  We've had cuddles and conversations.   Mum had an early bird start to her day, she thinks the birds were not even up as she left home.  Best of all as she left work is the thought that she is going to give herself some time off to recharge her batteries and spend some time with me.

I am back in the house.  Mum released me from cat prison this afternoon, and I have been zooming round the house and back garden all evening, checking out the smells and making sure nothing has moved.

Mum was glad the afternoon was good, she got most of her washing on and was able to air out the house, always good after  a few days locked up.

She was glad to be able to have a few days away with the family, and although it was hot and sticky, she got in a couple of walks and time with everybody.

So we have lots of catching up to do!!

Hi friends - we are sorry for taking such a long blogging break.  We have missed you all.  As you know we had to move our Chez q headquaters as our landlords wanted to come back to their little house.  Out of all the houses mum has lived in, she thinks she has loved that one the most.  It felt like home and we were all comfy and cosy there.  So for her it has been pretty tough

With only a small amount of time mum had to find somewhere affordable that was close to her work and I could move into.  She didn't expect it to be so tough out there, but it was pretty rotten.  Prices have risen like crazy and mum looked at lots of places.  Even the viewings have become crazy with thirty people showing up, and only getting a minute or two to look around.  

So the house we are in is pretty simple.  It is a small two bedroom flat with a young chap living in the flat above.  As a nervous nelly it has taken me all week to get used to noises coming from upstairs.  On the first night we were here I howled all night - all nine hours of the night.  For the rest of the week, I have only woken up with the birdies and howled from about 4.30am. I also spent the first three days hiding in mums bed under the duvet. So this afternoon , the mum gave up and let me go outside, and I spent about 4 hours exploring.  I did come back in at dinner time and mum is going to let me use the catdoor now, and see if that makes me happier.

We're back!!!  Mum had a busy weekend with working, and I soaked up the rays.  We got to have today off together and it was glorious.  We both sat out in the garden and mum finished reading the Hunger Games.

She had some jobs to do in town, and went for a walk in the sun, and then went to see the Hunger Games movie while she remembered the story.  She enjoyed it and said it was good to see a strong young female character, who runs and hunts and can hold her own.

We can't believe it is April already, and our daylights savings changed at the weekend with our clocks going back.  That means it is a bit lighter in the morning, and now a bit darker in the evening.  It always takes a few weeks to adjust.  Our adjustment programme includes a pile of books, and marshmallow/choc easter eggs for mum and chicken temptations for me.

Mum came back to me yesterday afternoon.  I have been very vocal with her, as she left me for two whole nights!!!  A friend came and gave me my fancy feasts, but I am glad to have my big bed warmer home with me.  You may think I look crabulated in this photo, but really I am just camera shy.

Mum had a lovely quiet break away with the besties.  For a bit of drama she felt car sick on the way home down a very long twisty road, and ended up being carsick just before she got home.  But after a shower and a sleep feels betterer now.  We had a lovely sleep in today and mum is taking it easy now!!
