Wordless Wednesday

 

Tuesday

 Mum got a good sleep today.  She got groceries on the way home, just a few things but pricey!! Still she knows she's lucky to have a job to pay for all of our treats.  She had to eat the leftover vegetables abd sausages for lunch, no wasting food here.  

I waited until 2pm to wake mum up today.  So mum's happy! 

Monday

 Today was a great day for sleeping and I didn't wake mum up until 1pm.  She thinks I am just bored and worried about her.   Once I wake her up, I go straight back to bed and sleep.

Naked Dinner

 

This was mums dinner before she put it in the oven.  Roasted pumpkin, carrots and beets, pork + fennel sausages with peas and roast onion gravy.  Although it looks unappealing here, mum says it was tasty and gives her leftovers for the next couple of meals.

Mum slept better today and even went out for an afternoon walk as it was so nice out.  Me - I slept too, and woke her up for a chat at 1pm.

Saturday

 Mum might have had worked 7 hours of call back at work overnight, got home at 8am, had 3 hours sleep then gone to a home show, walked round for hours, watched a cooking demonstration on fish tacos, got home and got more sleep and is now about to switch the on call phone back on.

Friday

 It's Friday again, and mums plans have changed from a quiet weekend to a busy one.  One of her colleagues is sick, so she's filling in for her.  Still lots of time for snuggling and what else is there to do in winter time?

Grey

It's grey and got cats on it and mums thinking of getting this duvet cover to snuggle under.
 

Wordless Wednesday- Poppy

 

Tuesday

 Mum had another 3 hour sleep this morning, and was tired all day, but hopes that will help her reset tonight.  I was glad when she got home after 8pm.  She got groceries on the way home and realized that she forgot a couple of things, so back to the shops tomorrow. 

These prehistoric looking flowers were being sll glorious along the coast at the weekend, brightening up a grey gloomy afternoon. 

Good Boy

 This is mums friends lovely cat Dust.  He was a busy boy, climbing trees, up on the neighbours roof and sll round busy boy.  He came up and sat on the stool beside mum, so she gave him a couple of treats.

Autumnal

 Mum went out to visit her friends today.  After a lovely lunch they took a walk along the sea front.  The weather went from overcast to fifteen minutes later it was clearing and sunny.  A lovely day out, and the sea air will hopefully help mum sleep well tonight.

Market

 Mum popped out before the rain started up this morning for a few things at the market.   The tulips were pretty, but mum didn't buy any.  Just a baguette, corriander, mince meat and sour cream.

Friday

 Finally it is Friday and mum is free of work until Tuesday.  She intended to only sleep until lunchtime, but woke up at 2pm.   By the time she got up and dressed the wintry afternoon was getting dark, and as she left home the rain was starting.   

She got a bus to the library and picjed up her reservations to realize that she had left her library card at home.  Luckily they let her take her books home as mum could recite all of her details.  Mum was not in the mood for cooking this evening so she grabbed a burger on the way home.  I had asked for my dinner at 3pm and was in bed by 3.30pm.  Mum is surprisingly tired tonight, all those carbs are making her sleepy!!

Tinged

 The skies were tinged with pink this evening, but there is meant to be heavy rain tonight/tomorrow.   Mum doesn't care, her 12 day of shifts finishes at 7am tomorrow and she has a couple of days off to relax with me.  She'll take her rain jacket tonight just in case.

Tuesday

 Today is what mum thinks as the turning night.  She got a good days sleep and is not too tired.  She's done 4 nights and now has the last three go go.  Dinner was nice , the cheapest small steak with reheated broccoli and carrots.  Now a kiwifruit on the couch while watching the Great British Bakeoff before putting the call phone on for the evening. 

Monday

 Mum got a good 5 hours sleep today and her body is settling into a nightshift pattern.  A cooler rainy day is better for being snuggled into bed and sleeping the day away.   I joined her in the bedroom, staying in my heated bed all day too.

Happy Day

 Happy mothers day to all the mums out there.  You're doing a fabulous job.  Relax and put your feet up xxx.

 Mums fitbit said she got 2.46 hours of sleep today.   Nightshift grrr!!! 

Rest Up

 Poor mum has 7 night shifts starting tonight.  She slept in and pottered about with a nap this afternoon.   She's just thinking that next time this week it will be over and she can have a couple of days off.
