Autumn is Here

This morning the weather looked promising, so mum did four loads and loaded up the washing line, just in time for the big grey clouds to arrive. It is cold and raining now, but the weather man said it should be sunny on Wednesday. Oh well, the towels should be dry by then.

After helping mum take the sheets off the bed, I have spread some furs on the electric blanket and now for the best bit - right now at 10pm we are gonna make the bed. Goodie goodie - I love this part.

Mum has a pile of books to read, and lots of jobs to get done. She is going to learn to love autumn. She says it will be time to tackle the wardrobe soon and dig out the sheepskin slippers and winter shoes. Goodie, I love the mess she makes.

  1. We are the champions of getting washing on he line just intime for the rain. Oh well. It's a talent, at least.

Thankyou for your nice words. You are good friends.

  3. Poppy, what are you watching so intently? It is another lovely sunny day here. We have rain coming back on Tuesday, so it must be because our sun is going to you for Wednesday. Please can you send it back again after your mum has dried her washing.

  9. Autumn is my mommie's favorite season. All the warm sweaters, apples, leaves and her birthday! But, since we've had such a crummy winter, she's ready for spring/summer. Enjoy your electric blankie!

  10. I don't like Autumn, because it means that Mummy doesn't have the door to the deck open so I can't go outside.

It's still quite warm in Dorkland so hopefully I'll get a few more weeks of outdoor playtime.
