Let's Have Some Fun

What do you mean No Work Today?

You are going to stay snoozing on my pillow past 8am?

No Biscuits til 9am?

What is the world coming to?
It is anniversary day of something, here in Wet Wellington. So even though mum still has 100 chores to do, she might just go off to the movies. After a big old lazy sleep in. She's in her room, and I'm plonked on my pillow in my room.
If you are about to start your week, we hope it is a good one. Have some fun, do something silly, something frivolous, buy some cupcakes, dance in your pyjamas, wear some bright lipstick, light a nice candle, talk to a friend, write a letter, put your fanciest linen on the bed, read your book out loud, try on a new perfume. We'll let you know what mum does. She's going to do something fun each day this week. I hope I get to play too.

  2. Is your mum going to put the fanciest linen on the bed for you to nap on. Our mum won't do that until summer because we come in and put muddy pawprints all over it. Have fun with your mum today Poppy.

  10. It's not a holiday here in Canada, but our mum is off today too. It has something to do with Annie + v.e.t. for bloodwork, whatever that is. And something about the furnace in the afternoon. We don't know what that is and don't care, as long as we get fed on time.

But we LOVE your mum's idea to do something fun every day this week!

  11. I know that I will be doing many fun things, Miss Poppy! I am all girl and all kitten! I am afraid that the only fun Mom will be having is playing with me in between working... Hey, that's pretty good, right?!

  12. Mum and dad tried to delay biscuits until 9am on Sunday morning. I showed them. I stood on mum's eyeball. She wont ignore the 10 tonne tabby's tummy again in a hurry! Hahaha!:)

We hope you ladies enjoyed your day off:)
