Did you find me yesterday? I was hiding next door. I love exploring the neighbours places, as they have interesting smells and I'm sure they're hiding mousies. Some of my friends are surprised that I'm an outdoor/indoors cat. Most Kiwi cats are, we usually get to wander around wherever we want. We have a couple of dogs next door but they're just little Chiauauas and I could squash them easy. I do try and stay away from the street where the cars whizz by.
Poppy, sometimes I wish it wasn't so hard for us U.S. cats to go outside. But especially here where we live, it is very dangerous. My human's boyfriend walks the dog in the evenings and he often sees coyotes wandering around our neighborhood, looking for dinner.
ReplyDeleteI bet it is amazing to see the next door folks. We are more rural than Sparkle so we see coyotes lots and some times bob cats. A few blocks up I have no doubt they see bears!
ReplyDeleteDo be careful out there, Poppy! We are so jellus of your outside time. Well, sum of us are.
ReplyDeleteWe wish we could be indoor/outdoor cats... srsly. Remember way back when... when we could. sigh.
ReplyDeleteWe sure are glad you dont go near where the cars are. I bet you are biggeer than the dogs next door.. Hugs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteWe never get to roam outside, but you always make it look like fun!!...Be careful out there, precious girl...Happy week, beautiful friend...xoxo...Calle, Halle, Sukki
ReplyDeleteThe majority of cats in the UK are indoor/outdoor too. We can go out of the house whenever we like, but we can't get out of the garden unless mum is with us and opens the gate.
ReplyDeleteYou are lucky to be able to play outside!
