The evening was warm and light, the nicest we have had in days. Mum joined me outside for my evening patrol, where I sit and watch the neighbors and lookout for intruders. I used to soend ages outside, but as I've got older a half hour or so is enough. I came inside and had some dinner, and have tucked myself back to sleep.

We're glad you both had a good day, Poppy. We wish we'd have some sunshine here too; it's been in very short supply this dreary, dismal winter! At least we're heading for our spring!

Awww it's nice to at least get outside for a bit. Yes, our Food man goes hunting in the stores for us too looking for any cans and the best price. Some days we like a can from one store but not the other.
