Gap



 Mum took these pictures of me sitting in the garden from the top of the steps beside our house.  You can see how close our house is to our neighbors.

    That is a very narrow gap. It must be only just wide enough to get through.

    Your mum could have conversations with her neighbour, one kitchen to the other (or whatever rooms face each other). I always thought that would be neat when I was a boy, having a friend in the neighbouring house and talk across the gap from our bedroom windows...
