Mum struggled  with the 5.40am alarm this morning.   The wind was relentless  last night but mum was  glad to find it had died away this morning.   It was nice that mums whole team were there at work and to start the day having a laugh with them.

After work mum only had a little  energy to vacuum  the carpets and make a grocery list.  Oh and to brush my furs and talk  to me cos that's important.

Is it sad to say that she is excited that Greys Anatomy  is restarting  again tonight?

Mums busy working and I'm busy watching the Antiques Roadshow.

Mums working again tonight and it will be midnight when she gets home.  Midnight fancy feast before bed for me.  Mmmmm!!!

Mum had to work today.  She thinks it was a bad choice to pick up a shift on the morning that daylight savings went forward, as she got very little sleep.  The good thing is that it will help her get into a rhythm while she adjusts and she doesn't have to go to work on Monday.

It is 11:34 and mum just stepped in the door.  She is meant to finish at 10:30 pm, but it was busy at work and then she needed a couple of things at the supermarket.  She didn't get any breaks on her shift and had five minutes to quickly eat her dinner between jobs, so she was in need of a little pick me up.  Luckily she can relax tonight for a while and sleep in tomorrow with me.

So my feast was late, but I am chowing down now.  Nothing wrong with a little midnight dinner every now and then.
