Snuggler

Mum went back to work last night.  It was a bit tough after a week of being sick and mainly in bed.  She us sore and tired today and has to go back tonight and then will have a few more days off.

So I helped mum and snuggled up next to her today to help her sleep.   She got a couple of hours snoozing and a couple of just resting.  Then it was time for her to get up and make some dinner and have a shower.   A couple of hours for us to share together before she heads back to work.

We are thinking of all our friends living in snowy areas at the moment.   Stay warm and dry my friends.

Snuggler

Lots of rain has been pouring down at Chez Q.  In fact, mum hasn't watered the garden since about February of this year, since the drought finished.  Because I pop outside to do my business in the garden, I get to catch the odd shower or two, which mum says is good as it helps to clean my furs.

Still it is a good excuse for us to relax in the living room.  Mum had some pork and her usual carrot, parsnip and swede mash with enough leftovers for tomorrow night.  Some tele watching, a bit of book reading and then off to snoozeville for the mumster.  I surprised her by sleeping next to her last night, all night which is unusual for me.  I usually only want to snuggle for an hour, and then wander off to sleep elsewhere by myself.

Mum has made me a new bed of cat blankies and towels in front of the heater.  That is my new bed, but every now and then I come and snuggle up to her in the bed.  It's chilling down a bit, so it is good to snuggle next to my mum.

She says she is glad there is one more sleep and then it will be the weekend.  Mum is on-call tonight, so she there might not be a lot of sleeping going on.

Mum moved some quilts around, so she has left me a little extra winter bed in her bedroom.  Another bonus of the winter, is that right now I am sitting on her knee, and have come to her every day for a cuddle.
