Our weather has been unseasonably warm and sunny. The sun has shifted though and we get less sun in our house or backyard, making the nights and mornings feel chilly. Mum went for a walk to the market today and enjoyed the warm rays. our fine spell is due to come to an end this week.
Mum has relaxed this weekend. she has read her books and so enjoyed not working.

Warm
As we are sweltering in too hot weather, we are watching the news about the cold weather rocking many of the US states and in Europe, and thought our friends would like some photos of our summery skies and green garden. We hope if warms you up a little.

Warm
We got a beautiful sunny day here in the city. Mum and I slept in and then she got herself up and got some chores done. The shower and toilet were scrubbed, the bedding aired out and washing on the line.
Mum walked to the market and got pumpkin, sweet potatoes, potatoes, turnip, parsnips and carrots. She roasted a whole pile with some lamb for her dinner tonight.
Mum then came home and the warm sun was pouring through our bay window. So she curled up on the bed next to me and read her book and then napped. Perfect!!!

Warm
There have been temperatures of 23-27 deg C here today, sorry that we are stealing your hots. Luckily for mum it has resulted in her being able to buy a couple of merino winter jumpers for half price at the beginning of the season, something that seldom happens. We guess that the clothes shops have to move some of their stock. Me - well I am enjoying that mum has got some quilts on the bed, and pulled out the merino blankie for the bottom of the bed. At the moment it is quilts on some nights, and quilts off the next. We are enjoying it while we can.

Warm
The news has been telling us this has been the warmest winter in one hundred years. There are spring flowers out and more and more blue skies, when usually we still have a couple of months of coolish weather due. So with only five days of winter left, we still know that we will have more chilly days ahead of us before it truly feels like spring. Still, mum was able to get out and do some weeding in the garden this afternoon after work, which is satisfying.
Still she has a nice big pile of books and lots of shows on the DVR to watch.
