Bed Making Lesson number two

Bed Making lesson number two:
  • Always tuck the duvet into its cover

Yesterday I showed you what to do with the sheets. You can see I am a big help making the bed. Come back tomorrow and I will show you more helpful hints.

Today me and my mum was real busy. We pulled out weeds, and if you have seen our garden with have a millionbijillion, so it will take us ages to finish the garden. Tomorrow is the first day of spring in New Zealand, so we celebrated by putting the spring duvet and quilts on the bed. The sun was shining and it was warm, so we were happy. Mum went for a walk by the beach to watch the surfers enjoy the afternoon, she says we are so lucky to live beside the seaside (about a 40 minute walk/five minute drive).

Have a nice week, whether it is turning to spring or autumn wherever you live. Happy change of seasons.

  1. You look to be a very good bed maker Poppy. We will soon be into autumn. We are hoping it will be better than summer. Since June 1st, we have had the wettest three summer months on record. Guess what, it's raining again today:(

  2. Dearest Poppy Q,
We think you might need to come visit us and teach us how to make the bed. You are an expert! Of course, be forewarned...if you come to visit, Mommy spend 27 hours a day tryin' to kiss your tummy...she's weird like that, ya know.

Enjoy your first day of Spring tomorrow!!!

    Very truly yours,
    The Whiskers and Purrs Gang

  3. You do the bed making very well. I am happy for you having nicer weather, but as I said before, we are ready for fall - it's HOT here, over 90 degrees today.
