Rainy day on ebay

Today it was raining and cold. The antarctic penguins wanted to give us another taste of winter, and sent some cold north to us. So we between study, mum showed me some things on ebay. This is a cat loft bed. Very smart looking I thought, but why would you want to sleep on the little itty bitty bed, that other one looks very very comfy.

Fleas

Tonight I was minding my own business, trying to rest when my mum came after me with the flea comb. So I has jumped off the bed and runned outside in the rain.

Mum has been using Frontline plus every month, and washing all the linens and vacumning and still she finds fleas on me. Can anyone recommend an alternative flea treatment?

Why?

Mum, why does you put the bath mats on top of my footstool?

It is because it sits near the heater, and they dry quicker.

Also it makes the footstool into a little tent,..........

..........and cats love tents!!

So my day started like this.............. a furtan on this side,.............

.....then I rolled over to get the other side warm............

.........then I did a stretch, this one is for you Monty..........

.........I did scratch behind this ear, it's itchy you know.......

.........then I thought I would look away from the camera. It always makes the purrparazzi go away!!

I helped - a little bit

Last weekend, the weed pile was this big.

Today it grew a bit more.

Hi!! This is me snoopervising in the sun. Hope you all had a nice day.

This is the big pile of weeds, in front of the last of the vines/bush/triffids that mum wants to cut away. She is thinking that she will have to pay someone to come and take all the weeds away next week.

The wind died down today, and we pulled off lots of branches and made a huge pile of garden rubbish. Once we find the camera, we will take more pictures to update you. So, it is an early night for us.

Where we live is sometimes called Windy Wellington. It has been blowing sideways outside tonight.

So, mum and I have hidden ourselves inside, out of the wind.

And we hope we can get into the garden tomorrow.

Scent of a ladycat

Hello wall, I better rub up against you............

just in case How Rude, the intruder neighbour cat.....

..........comes into my garden.

One corner of the garden is cleared

Can you see that we have cleared the weeds from this corner of the garden.

We have cut back these bushes, but they are sprouting again already!!

This is the tangle we have to finish cutting back on the other side of the garden!! No wonder I am blurry in the picture!!

This is a closer picture of the other one I posted at the weekend. The mancat on the back fence is How Rude, my intruder cat (we thinks he is a mancat).

He runs away a lot from me!!

Time for a rest

Today is Meow like a pirate day!! This is the picture I did for last year, I finks it is still funny and I wish I could have a hello kitty tattoo!!




I am learning that gardening is a lot of hard work..................

......so you has to have lots of rests..............

..........and when you roll around you can show mum the weeds that grow up through the bricks.......

.......we hope we get some sun this weekend so we can get out and do more.

Outdoor Tours

We have pulled lots of weeds out around the blue bucket...........

.......mum is not sure if she should cut back the roses. She has had to buy a gardening book from the internet. It's not here yet. When she gets it, she will let us know what they say.........


She has filled one whellie bin with weeds, and needs to ring to get another one for a month.

She has scratches on her arms from all the sticks and twigs.

Pixie Bananas

Today we woke to the sad news, that Pixie, my good friend Daisy the Curly Cats big sister, got called to the bridge. I always called her Pixie Bananas, cause she loved to eat them and I know that bananas are great for your heart too (Pixie had a tricky heart condition that slowed her down)..

Pixie, I hope there was a big bunch waiting for you when you got to the bridge. Sweet dreams Pixie girl.
