Still loving the doormat

Yup, I am still loving the mat. Today my mum got to spend the morning sleeping in (she got called into work late last night). I was a good girl, and only jumped on her three times to ask her to get up and get my breakfast ready. The third time must of worked, cause she gave in and got me my biscuits.

Tonight, she has made sure I have had my pre bedtime snack, so that I don't need to wake her up.

Last night was sticky summer hot, and mum slept on top of the bed with a thin quilt on. Tonight a southerly has blown in, so it will be back under the duvet for mum, and between her knees for me.

Sleep well everybuddy.

  1. Our mum only gives us half our food at supper time then gives us the rest when she goes to bed. She said she was fed up with us stomping over her head at 5am every morning.

  4. You're looking especially precious today, Miss Q. We know all about those pesky sweaty nights. They're no good!

  7. Ah warmth, I love the sound of it. We are expecting anywhere from 6 to 14 inches of snow tomorrow. Enjoy your summer for me, okay?

  8. Poppy, that is a lovely doormat. I don't think I would like a rubber doormat either, they are smelly.

Can I come visit you? It is so cold here that I am trying desperately to find a friend in a warm climate that will let me visit them, hint, hint : )

  9. Mum would like a nice warm night to sleep without the covers on. Maybe if she turned the heating thing up, way up she could do that now.

  10. It always seems that it's either too hot or too cold. I guess that's what makes life interesting for us kitties.

  11. I wish we could trade you some of this coldness for that warmness. It was 3 degrees (fahrenheit-sp??) this morning, which is better than it has been. Last Thursday was the warmest, and it got to 35 here!
