Happy August
Happy Welcome to AUGUST!! Thats right folks, here in the southern hemisphere things are beginning to bud and grow, that's right our garden is showing little signs of spring - very very early we must say. We are having less rain, so mum needs to get out and pull more weeds again.
Our wheelie bin is full of weeds ready for the men to pick up at earlyo'clock on Monday morning.
We hope you all have a productive weekend.

Hi Poppy Q! Happy AUgust to you too dear. The Kiwi cats mommy sent this message to you:Hi Karla, and thanks for the link to this kitty's blog. It was lovely to read it and see all her furfriends. Unfortunately I don't have a Google account so couldn't comment, but I'm going to set up a blog myself soon so will go back there then and comment. In the meantime you can say 'kia ora' from me to Poppy Q and her Mum. Thanks.

Happy August to you too Poppy. We hope August is better for us than July was. We had less than three weeks of lovely sunny hot weather in June but then it rained ever since.

Happy August to you too Poppy! What a beautiful picture of your. Much prettier to see you in a garden than a scary gargoyle.
ReplyDeleteAs for weeds, it might be easier if once you cleaned the area of weeds if you added some cedar bark mulch, around 4-5 inches high. The thick layer of mulch will keep weeds from growing up then your Mum won't have so much work to do. The cedar bark has a natural beautiful color that looks great against the green grass but more importantly, would look great against your gray furs.
Happy August.. You are soo cute sat there, I wouldn't mind you in my garden..
