Hiding spot

Hiding spot. I like to hide under this chair. The weave lests me see any introooders in my garden and if it is raining, my furs stay dry.
Where do you like to hide?

  1. Well, Whitey use to live in a drainage ditch when he lived Outside. Gandalf use to hide in the bushes when he was still allowed Outside. Grayson doesn't hide. He is just a kind of "Laid Back and Out There" kinda Mancat!

Now we all just follow Mom wherever she goes in the house. It works for us! Except when it Thunderboomies... Then Gandalf hides under Nana's couch.

  2. I like to hide in plain sight! I curl up in a kitty loaf on the end of the bed, and stay as still as a statue. The number of times mum and dad don't notice me the first time!

We really hope we can get our outside set up, and so does mum. The only reason we're stuck inside now is the road outside. We're used to traffic that doesn't go more than 20km an hour from our little cul de sac, but now it goes up to 70km, and is really busy. She is determined to get us set up, because she hates keeping us in.

  3. I'm not a big one for hiding, because nobody can admire me if they can't see me!

  4. I don't have a hiding spot outside, I only go out there a little bit. I hide under the spare bed in the house though, and sometimes mum and dad can't find me!

  6. Poppy, you need to do something about your tail. It's a dead giveaway!

  7. I like to hide under the morning-glories...there are enough of them that I can't be seen, but I can see EVERYTHING! But if it rains, I run under the porch.

  8. We hide under the bed, sometimes. Other times, Mom has no idea where we are, like now! We like your hiding place!

  10. Great hiding spot, Poppy!

Our cat, Sammy, said to tell you:

"I like to hide underneath the dining room chairs. They have covers on them, so when I'm hiding under them, my mom, dad and brother have to play the kitty version of "the shell game" to find me."

  11. I like to sit on the scratching post .. looking out at bird tv. When I'm done with that, I sit on the couch. I can see the bird tv in there, the hallway, the stairs .. my other spot is the chairs by the kitchen table. I can hide and no one sees me. Sometimes I go outside when Mom opens the door for the dogs. She usually sees me & gets me in but I plan my great escape from there..ok, I usually nap but still ...

  13. What a wonderful hiding place, Poppy girl. Just be sure to tuck in your tail!

We are not usually hiders but once our Colby hid behind the pediment of a very tall grandfather clock.
Mum was in a panic because she couldn't find him. Remains a mystery to this day how he got up there.

  14. That is a good hidey spot Poppy, but maybe you should curl your tail in too.
Eric: I like to hide under the Leylandii hedge. If I get right back, no-one can see me.
Flynn: I like to hide under the Azaleas because there are usually bugs under there to play with while I hide.

  15. Poppy that is a great spot - the fact that you can still see out is wonderful! Most of my kitties don't hide much - there just aren't a lot of places at our house. BUT a few weeks back when Floyd had to go to the vet we looked EVERYWHERE in the house that he has hid in the past - the closet, under the bed (where he can't even fit anymore because of boxes) and even in the shower - couldn't find him anywhere. I knew he couldn't have gotten out, so I looked and looked and we were running late - and he had totally hidden in plain site! There was a pile of blankets on the couch - it didn't look like a kitty was in there - but there is was!

  18. Minnie hides in my bedroom closet under the blower of the furnace when she's scared of storms. When everything's fine, she has a chair she likes to hide under; the skirt of the upholstery is an excellent disguise. :)

  19. You are a perfect match for the chair! I like to hide under the table, and under my human sister's bed!

  20. Smart place to hide! Mathilda likes to hide in the bedroom, because nobody`s there during daytime. Theodor doesn`t like to hide, because he loves being near people AT ALL TIMES!

  21. And it's a nice color to camouflage you.

Lilly likes to hide under the rocking chair and Carrleigh likes to hide under the bed with her nose sticking out. Java is too big to hide and Piper is too boisterous.

  22. I love this post. You look so beautiful with your tail hanging out.

My Wiggles likes to hide under the bed and leave his tail out so I can see it and then wag it as I walk by.

    Cute post!
